Chih-Lin Sun (孫志麟) is a distinguished professor of the department of Educational Management at National Taipei University of Education. He teaches graduate courses in educational policy, educational administration, educational evaluation, educational leadership, teacher education, and teacher professional development. He has diverse experience as an elementary school teacher, a manpower planner, and a specialist of policy planning in the Ministry of Education.

From 2000 to 2023, with Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) support, he studied teacher efficacy, teacher evaluation, teacher leadership, professional development schools, professional capital for teachers, professional learning community for teachers and principals, faculty evaluation, and educational program evaluation in the context of Taiwan’s education systems. Dr. Sun has been a Visiting Scholar at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) (2010.02.01~2011.01.31) and University of Canberra (2019.08.01~2020.01.31). He is the author of Research on Education Policy and Evaluation--A Quest for Excellence (2014), The Future of Teacher Education: Policy and Practice (2010), Building Confidence: Seven Series of Teacher Efficacy (2010), and numerous journal articles and reports.
