The Educational Leadership Research Center (hereinafter referred to as the Center) was planned and established in August 2021. It aims to combine educational leadership experts and scholars inside and outside the school to carry out the teaching, research, and service functions of educational leadership, and enhance the academic development, development of educational leadership research, and contribute practical leadership experience.
All full-time teachers in the department are members of the center. The center has one director, who has no fixed position. The full-time teachers in the department are recommended by the department meeting for a term of two years and can be re-elected once. The director is responsible for the planning, decision-making and management of the center, and may represent the center to the outside world. He may appoint a number of personnel to assist in the promotion of the center's business.
The center accepts project commissions and subsidy research projects from the government and private sectors. The project research project leader should coordinate the implementation of the project plan and be responsible for the commissioned project.
The center provides the following services:
(1) Teaching services: Provide relevant educational leadership training courses for students in each class of the department, primary and secondary school principals, directors, team leaders, kindergarten supervisors and teachers to cultivate their educational leadership qualities.
(2) Industry-university cooperation: accept relevant tutoring programs commissioned by government agencies or private companies, and combine educational leadership theories to help primary and secondary schools improve their competitiveness.
(3) Special seminars: Hold academic seminars on educational leadership issues, and invite experts and scholars from industry, academia, administrative agencies, the Judicial Yuan, the Ministry of Justice, courts at all levels, and judges colleges to give lectures and exchanges on educational leadership.
(4) Data collection: Systematically collect relevant information on educational leadership, including the case practice of educational leadership, the current situation of educational leadership in primary and secondary schools, and establish a database for educational leadership research.
(5) Publication of books: From time to time, special works on educational leadership issues are published, and academic papers on educational leadership are published in conjunction with the department's "Journal of Educational Policy and Management" to disseminate research results.
